Ghost of Tsushima offers a lot of customisation for your character, including the choice to dye your clothes.
On the island of Tsushima, there are two special merchants specialising in white and black specific dyes.
If you want to look as pretty as fresh snow or as menacing as a dark night, you'll want to track these merchants down as soon as possible.
There is also an achievement tied to these sellers so there is plenty of incentive to locate them.
If you're having trouble finding them, fret not, because we've done all the hard work for you. The first seller is available from the start, but the black dye merchant requires you to make some specific story progress.
The hidden achievement in question is called Monochrome Masters and to unlock this you need to buy an item from both the Black and White dye merchants.
Here's our spoiler-free guide on how to unlock this achievement and get a fancy new look.
Using our map as a guide here, you can see that the White Dye merchant is located just north of the Yagata Farmstead.
You're looking for a big mountain which will have some handle little rocks jutting out to climb up when approached from the farmstead.
The White Dye Merchant is here, in the top-left section of the map known as Komoda

Climb all the way up that you can and you'll know when you're getting close because there will be strands of white cloth and linen tied to posts marking the way to the merchant.
This merchant trades in flowers, so make sure to pick up as many as you can as you're exploring.

You can buy clothing dyes or even some new weapon skins from this merchant. Make sure you buy at least one thing from him.
Once you've reached him, you'll be able to fast travel to his location any time you want.
Now that you found one, it's time to get the achievement by finding the Black Dye Merchant.
You won't be able to get to this merchant until Act II begins.
Once in Act II, you'll be able to find the Black Dye Merchant on the east side of the island, directly to the north-east of the Ruins of Old Yarikawa on the map.
Use our screenshot here to orientate yourself.
The Black Dye Merchant is on the east side of the island once you get into Act II

The merchant can be found under a big rock in a clearing of bamboo trees.
Once again, you'll be able to tell by all the black cloth dotted around leading up to the merchant.

Sucker Punch
Head into the cave and you will find him there. Buy at least one thing from the man and that will unlock the achievement for you.
And you're done! That's everything you need to do to unlock the Monochrome Masters achievement.
