I’m not sure what you were doing when you were the tender age of 12 but I can all but guarantee you weren’t spitting out pick up lines like little English boy Max here. While on a radio show Selena Gomez is told that she’s one of the most sought after women in the world at which point she begins listening to pick up lines given by callers into the studio. Max starts off by asking her the following question: “Is your name Google? Because you have everything I’m searching for.” Selena is impressed though she does admit that Max turning 18 would be a crucial point in her pursuing this young lad.
The next one up is Amy from Northampton: “I heard you’re good at algebra – could you replace my X, without asking Y?” Selena thought that one was clever and that she’d have to think about that. She also said she’s bad at math so it took her a little while to figure that one out.
The final line. Scott says, “Do you know what my shirt’s made of? Boyfriend material.”
Let’s face it team. Selena’s eventually going to be getting back together with Justin Bieber. It’s inevitable. As a male in his late 30s I can honestly tell you this. While Selena Gomez is clearly one of the most beautiful celebrities on the planet, she’s just on a different plane that just about every guy in the world. It’s why she ends up with dudes like Bieber. That should tell you all you need to know. The beauty you see in videos, movies, and in public is definitely not the lady you’d be getting in real life.
While the 20-year-old me would have a ball with Selena and could run that relationship into the 5 plus years category (or until it fizzled), the man in me now wouldn’t last a week. Not to say that Selena would even have me, especially when there’s no chance my game is nearly as on point as Max’s is.
P.S. Which line was your favorite? I like the boyfriend material one.
